Xbox One and PS4 editions of Minecraft

Originally likely to launch in August alongside the new Xbox One and PS4 editions of Minecraft, 4J Studios' PS Vita port with the popular franchise was unfortunately delayed and it is still currently in development.  Even after Minecraft pe maps eventually launched late on current-gen platforms recently, the planned handheld version was further postponed.  Giving fans an update on the development process on Minecraft: PS Vita Edition, 4J Studios confirmed on Sept. 16 actually still hard at work on removing bugs but be prepared to send the title off for certification soon.

The addition of infinitely generated maps to iOS and Android platforms might enhance the eyebrows of console players that are still hindered by limited worlds despite their stronger builds running on better and dedicated hardware.  This rings extremely true for that upcoming Xbox One and Playstation 4 editions of Minecraft which will launch later august.  Even with all the power of new-gen consoles, 4J Studios still couldn't figure out how to bring endless worlds to home consoles.

A price and release date has yet to be announced but this follows the recent relieve the Fantasy Texture Pack.
